Resting under the shade of the London plane tree is a brand new picnic table, provided to the Pleasant Hills Arboretum through the generosity of our Pleasant Hills Lion’s Club.  

Bill Steffen, our Arboretum board president and Lion’s Club member was instrumental in helping to round up support for obtaining and delivering the table to the Arboretum.  

Volunteers on our Spring Volunteer Day have already made use of the new picnic table to take a break enjoying pizza and drinks provided in kind by our local Vocelli’s Pizza. We are so grateful to have this picnic table for our visitors.  Thank you, Lion’s Club, for this wonderful addition to the Arboretum!  

When you don’t feel like dining in, why not come to the Pleasant Hills Arboretum….. dining out with the sounds and sights of nature!
