Have you noticed the beautiful split rail wooden fence now being erected on the perimeter of the West Bruceton side of the Pleasant Hills Arboretum? This new and attractive rustic fence was made possible by a donation from the estate of Pleasant Hills resident, Deborah Heilman.
Thanks to Deborah’s generosity, we are able to make several improvements to the Arboretum for the enjoyment of all visitors.
Our new Pleasant Hills Arboretum split rail fence harkens an earlier time in the Arboretum’s history when the magnificent trees that it now frames were mere saplings. We hope you have the opportunity to tap into your own pioneer spirit by spending time, hiking and enjoying our wonderful woodland and meadow trails this Fall.
